Galina Averina (Haidee Saretski Prize 2013) was invited by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa to participate in a workshop with her on November 29th/December 1st. She met Galina at a Masterclass at the Cardiff International Academy of Voice and was most impressed by her singing.

Ed Nesbit (Contemporary Music Project 2013) has been shortlisted for the British Composer Awards for his song cycle ' A Pretence of Wit', which was premiered by Soprano Emily Hindrichs (Azuriales Winner 2009) in October 2013 at Aldeburgh and supported by Les Azuriales.

Tereza Gevorgyan (Karaviotis Prize winner 2013) has won the 2013 Pavarotti Prize at the Royal Academy of Music


Madeleine Pierard (Winner Les Azuriales 1st prize 2008) has just given birth (29th September) to a daughter Cloe Anthea Rose.

Monica McGhee (finalist 2010) has joined ENO’s Opera Works course with a little support from Les Azuriales Opera trust.

Emily Hindrichs (Les Azuriales 1st Prize 2009) is appearing as Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera for Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe opening on 12th October.
