"I participated in Les Azuriales Opera at the end of my student career which also meant the beginning of my professional career. In retrospect, the Programme was the best transition one could ask for. Dennis O'Neill was an unbelievably nurturing educator; his insights from his performing days as well as his understanding of human voice and singing technique helped me prepare for the early stages of being a working singer. Also, through the Competition, I tested my skills while learning about the amazing talents that are emerging around the world: this motivated me to work harder. The whole week was full of music making in a relaxed-yet-driven environment, and I thank Sarah and Mark for creating such a haven of a platform for young artists."
